From 2007, contacts between the publishing houses  partners from China have been tightening. During the visit of the Chinese delegation from Anhui Publishing Group, headed by Ms. Wu Wei, was declared willing to cooperate with the publisher from Toruń.
The next step was signing the first agreement - it happened during the visit of the Adam Marszałek's delegation in China. The Mayor of Toruń, Michał Zaleski, also took part in the solemn meeting. It was the first contract signed by president Adam Marszałek on cooperation between the two countries. The importance of this event is evidenced by receiving the Certificate of Approval for Establishment of Enterprise with Foreign Investment in the People's Republic of China whose owner in Poland is only Adam Marszałek.
Soon after that, during the next APG delegation in Poland, headed by Tian Haiming, more cooperation agreement were signed. In November 2008, the visit of the Adam Marszałek Publishing delegation resulted in widening cooperation. At that time, the Polish guests visited the APG branches - there were meetings with subsequent publishers from the group and the printing house as well.
 
In May 2009, the first important agreements were signed for the publication of Chinese books (Chinese Folk Customs, I’m a Mouse in Beijing Room and Psychotherapy from the Orient). They were signed by President Adam Marszałek and Lin Qingfa, the Editor-In-Chief of Anhui Publishing Group. After five years of building common relations in publishing cooperation, there was a breakthrough. During the visit of the eighteen-person Chinese delegation headed by Zang Shikai in Toruń, the first agreement on establishing a new company was signed. It was the first step to establishing the Time Marszałek Group, which was supposed to be a Polish-Chinese company specializing in publishing books on both the Polish and English market.
 
In 2011 during the Beijing International Book Fair negotiations were conducted by representatives of APG, Editor-In-Chief of Lin Qingf and Director Bao Yunjiu with representatives of Adam Marszałek Publishing House President Adam Marszałek and Director Iwona Nadolska-Bartosiak, a cooperation plan was established for 2012. Directors participated in this important meeting of publishing houses gathered at Anhui Publishing House: Huang Heping, Ren Gengyun, Hu Zhengyi, Zheng Ke, Zheng Kewen and Zhu Han Dong. During his visit to China, President Adam Marszałek, in recognition of his achievements in strengthening Polish-Chinese cooperation, was honored with the title of Honorary Member of the Board of the China Book International Advisory Board.
 
As a result of long negotiations conducted by Polish and Chinese partners in Hefei, a contract was signed which was the founding act of the international company Time Marszałek Group. In addition to the publishing activity, it was planned that it will also conduct business activities in other areas. The registered office of the company was located in Toruń, Łysomice, and the area of operation covers the whole of Europe. President Adam Marszałek has been appointed general manager and is a representative of the company in Poland.
Among the current board members there are Wang Min, the company's president, Bao Yunjiu, the president of the board, and two board directors Ma Xiaoyun and Liu Chao. In the same year, on October 9 at the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw, the ceremony of the inauguration of Time Mrszałek Group in Poland took place. Since then, the company's activity has been growing every year. The most important publishing partner, apart from co-founders, is the oldest publisher from Beijing – China Renmin University Press. In addition, cooperation with publishers from Encyclopedia of China Publishing House, Foreign Language Press, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Publishing Co., Ltd, New World Press, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Hubei Science and Technology Publishing, and the Chinese Writers Association have been working well for many years, and recently company started cooperation with: Tsihnghua University Press, Henan University Publishing House and East China Normal University Press in Shanghai.
From 2016, Time Marszałek Group also participates in programs created at the initiative of President Xi Jinping regarding the New Silk Road. The main undertaking is the initiative "One Belt One Road", for which in 2018 President Adam Marszałek received the award from the creators of the idea - China Renmin University Press.
